	Northeastern Baptist is a fellowship of Christians seeking to obey God in a rapidly changing culture. You will find at Northeastern people just like yourself, people who desire to wrestle with life's tough questions, people who love friendship, people with problems that they have overcome, people with problems that they are still battling, people who need rest, refreshment and spiritual insight.. It is our desire that in this community everyone is known and loved, and everyone has an opportunity to share their story. Most of all, it is our desire to listen to God tell His story about Himself and mankind so that we may live in harmony with one another and with the Creator.

	OUR MISSION is to become and to make faithful followers of Jesus Christ.

	What is a service like at Northeastern Baptist? Our morning services often begin with an inspiring song from the Northeastern Baptist Choir. Our worship incorporates a blend of favorite hymns from our rich history, as well as some of the newest worship songs being written today. Our Worship Pastor, Nathan Pierpont leads from his keyboard as the orchestra, piano and organ join in leading the congregation in a dynamic time of worship and celebration. Reading from the Bible is a priority in every service and the entire service is directed toward a explanation of God's Word by our Pastor, Dr. George L. Coon. We worship together through singing, preaching, praying and giving. Dozens of volunteer musicians participate in our music ministry in an effort to lift up the name of Christ and point one another to the ministry of God's Word.
